Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、婦人科癌における、腫瘍細胞の生物学的特性と宿主免疫との多様性を解析する中で、腫瘍局所に存在するB細胞の集簇体である3次リンパ様構造（TLS）に注目し、TLSの空間的分布やその制御機構に焦点を当て、臨床検体を用いたがん遺伝子変異・発現解析とともに、細菌叢解析と、動物モデルを用いた検証実験を行うことによって、婦人科癌における、（１）TLSや細菌叢を含む新たな腫瘍免疫多様性と臨床的意義の解明、（２）細菌叢による化学療法や免疫療法への治療効果や免疫応答への影響を評価、（３）TLS・細菌叢多様性に基づく、新規治療開発の基礎的検討、をそれぞれ行い、新たな診断および治療に資する成果を目指す。
