Outline of Research at the Start	閉経関連泌尿生殖器症候群（GSM）は、閉経前後の性ホルモン低下によって起こる従来の外陰膣萎縮症（膣や外陰部の萎縮・乾燥、不快感、痛み）に加え、頻尿、尿失禁などの下部尿路症状を伴う進行性の慢性疾患である。欧米では内服薬として選択的エストロゲン受容体モジュレーターのオスペミフェンが承認されているが、下部尿路症状を含め他のGSM関連症状に対する効果は十分な検討がされていない。そこで本研究では、卵巣摘出（OVX）ラットを用いてGSM関連症状である性器症状・下部尿路症状・性交関連症状に対するオスペミフェンの有効性を検討するとともに病態の解明を目指す。
