Outline of Research at the Start

好酸球性中耳炎患者および対照患者の中耳粘膜を採取し、RNA laterに保存した後にmRNAを抽出する。タイプ2/3サイトカインおよび受容体、PGE2および受容体を含むマイクロアレイプレート（IL-4、IL-4Rα、IL-5、IL-5R、IL-13、COX-1、COX-2、m-PGES-1、EP1、EP2、EP3、EP4など30種類）を利用し、組織に発現するmRNA量を網羅的に定量する。発現量の相関やクラスタリングを解析し、2型/3型サイトカイン-PGネットワークを構築する。さらに各分子の発現量と重症度（難聴の程度など）の相関を解析し、臨床的意義を検討する
