Outline of Research at the Start

近年の研究からHPV関連中咽頭癌は分子サブタイプで層別化されることが示されているが発癌メカニズムは不祥な点が多い。特に、頭頸部扁平上皮癌ではDNAメチル化異常以外のエピゲノム異常は解明されていない状況にある。本研究では、HPVゲノムの組込みによるクロマチン変化、特に転写制御異常に着目した発癌分子機構の解明と層別化、サブクラス毎の治療標的を解明することを主題とする。HPV関連中咽頭癌検体を用いた網羅的な遺伝子発現解析、エピゲノム解析を行い層別化に取り組む。さらに治療標的候補について細胞株を用いた機能解析を行うことで、個別化治療構築へ向けた分子サブタイプに対する治療標的の解明を目指す。
