Outline of Research at the Start

声帯瘢痕は不可逆的で重度の嗄声をきたす希少疾患であり、治療法は限定される。これまで我々の研究グループが世界に先駆けて再生医療の開発を行い、軽症から中等症の瘢痕は治療できるようになったが、重症瘢痕についてはまだ効果的な治療法は確立されていない。これまで細胞増殖因子や幹細胞を用いた治療法が開発されてきたが、重症瘢痕に対してはハイブリッド戦略が不可欠である。本研究ではin vitro、重症瘢痕モデル動物を用いて、新規再生医療の開発を行う。
