Outline of Research at the Start

好酸球性副鼻腔炎は、既存の治療に抵抗性を示す難治例が少なからず存在するため、その病態の解明が課題となっている。一方で、線維芽細胞は細胞系の発生起源や活性化状態などの違いから、発現マーカーや細胞機能に不均一性があることが想定されている。
そこで本研究では、鼻組織中に存在する線維芽細胞のサブセットを解析し、難治性病態との関連性を検証する。さらに各サブセットの機能的な役割を評価し、疾患メカニズムの理解に繋げることを目的とする。鼻組織中の線維芽細胞サブセットの特性や機能的役割を理解することで、好酸球性副鼻腔炎の難治化に関連する新規バイオマーカーの同定と、線維芽細胞を標的とした治療戦略確立を目指す。
