Outline of Research at the Start

近年、悪性腫瘍の診断や治療効果判定などを目的にリキッドバイオプシーの開発が進んでいるが、眼表面の悪性腫瘍に対する報告はない。眼表面の悪性腫瘍は、涙液と接していることおり涙液中の腫瘍由来分子を用いてリキッドバイオプシー開発ができる可能性がある。本研究計画は、角結膜扁平上皮新生物について、①網羅的DNA解析を行い日本人における体細胞遺伝子異常のカタログを作製するとともに、②涙液中のDNAにおいても悪性腫瘍由来の遺伝子異常が同定可能か検証し、患者に優しい医療に向けた眼部悪性腫瘍のリキッドバイオプシーの実現を目指す。
