Outline of Research at the Start

超高齢社会の到来により、老化の遅延および健康寿命延伸が喫緊の課題となっており、個体老化の基本メカニズムを解明し、それに基づく加齢関連疾患の治療戦略開発が重要である。本研究ではDNAメチル化・NADの定量をもとに眼の生物時計を定義し、眼の発生段階そして疾患の標的としての老化指標の意義を探索する。
