Outline of Research at the Start

以前、マウスの視神経挫滅モデルにおいて行ったトランスクリプトーム解析、およびメタボローム解析を改めて統合して解析することでhexokinase 2（HK2）に神経保護効果を見出した。今回、東北大学の持つ化合物ライブラリーからHK2発現誘導作用を有する化合物をスクリーニングし（ヒット化合物）、HK2およびヒット化合物の神経保護効果を、in vitroではiPSから誘導した網膜神経節細胞（retinal ganglion cell: RGC）、in vivoではマウスを対象に緑内障を想定した様々なストレスを負荷することで明らかにして、より優れたヒット化合物を選別する。
