Outline of Research at the Start

眼内悪性リンパ腫は、5 年生存率は 30%から40%と眼疾患の中でも最も生命予後の悪い難治性疾患であり、標準治療は確立されていないアンメットニーズの疾患である。研究代表者は、眼内悪性リンパ腫の疾患特異的遺伝子の 4 遺伝子を同定した。特異的遺伝子を標的とした分子病的薬剤は、候補薬剤として考えられた。本研究課題では、疾患特異的遺伝子に対して、候補薬剤の治療効果を、in vitroおよびIn vivoにて検証する。眼内悪性リンパ腫の疾患特異的な遺伝子のプロファイルに基づいた世界に先駆けた眼内悪性リンパ腫に対する治療戦略のPrecision Medicineを目指す。
