Outline of Research at the Start

褥瘡などの慢性皮膚潰瘍は難治性で、治癒促進をもたらす薬剤の開発が求められている。
Angiopoietin-1（Ang-1）をリガンドとするチロシンキナーゼ受容体Tie2は間葉系幹/前駆細胞の細胞マーカーであるが、皮膚における役割に関しては不明であった。最近、乾癬の病態から着想した申請者独自の研究で、皮膚においてもTie2が組織修復に関与するデータを得た。そこで本研究では、表皮角化細胞においてTie2/Ang-1システムを制御することで創傷治癒促進を図れるのかを明らかにする。本研究は、難治性皮膚潰瘍に対する新規治療法の開発に貢献するものと期待される。
