KeywordsSwallowing Reflex / TRPV4
Outline of Research at the Start

Difficulty in water swallowing is a significant health problem among patients with dysphagia. Exploring molecular mechanisms of water-induced swallowing may help to develop therapeutics for that problem. This study will explore the crucial roles of TRPV4 in water-induced swallowing.
