Outline of Research at the Start

Lipopolysaccharide(LPS)は、根尖性歯周炎や薬剤関連性顎骨壊死 Medication-related Osteonecrosis of the Jaw(MRONJ)の発症、進行に関わる細菌学的因子である。組み換えヒト副甲状腺ホルモンのテリパラチドがMRONJ治療に有効性を示した報告があるが、その作用メカニズムやLPSによる炎症反応に対する作用については不明である。本研究では、それらの疾患の治療薬を開発するために、in vitroとin vivoの両面から、LPS誘導性炎症性骨吸収におけるテリパラチドの有効性を明らかにする。
