Outline of Research at the Start

本課題では、「骨膜が骨と接していながら石灰化せず、線維性組織構造を維持していることに関与するシグナルは何なのか」「骨膜細胞がどのような因子の影響を受けて線維性組織の性質を失い石灰化へと向かうのか」といった学術的問いから生じる、「何を補えば骨膜側からの骨再生を促せるのか」を明らかにすることを目的に、先行研究結果に基づき骨-骨膜間におけるシグナルのやり取りの中心を担うと考えられるエクソソームに含有されるmiRに着目し、その骨再生における役割の解明を試みる。
