Outline of Research at the Start

インプラント患者では咬合力調整能力が不足し、咬みしめ習癖の助長、慢性咀嚼筋痛を誘発している可能性が考えられる。しかしインプラント患者の咀嚼筋活動特性と咀嚼筋痛の関連性を調べた報告は殆ど見当たらない。また、この咀嚼筋痛が関連痛を引き起こしているのでは？と思われる症例も経験している。そこで、インプラント患者は基本的な咀嚼筋活動が上昇しやすい状況になり、咀嚼筋痛が生じ易くなっているのではないか？　そのために関連痛発現の可能性が高くなっているのではないか？という考えに至った。本研究計画では健常者とインプラント患者の咀嚼筋活動レベル、筋の硬度などを比較し慢性痛発現に対するインプラントの関与を検討する。
