Outline of Research at the Start	全身のほぼ全ての組織には組織幹細胞が存在し、この組織幹細胞が組織の恒常性を担っていることが知られている。口腔においても、歯周組織、唾液腺、顎関節など多くの組織で組織幹細胞が見つかっている。この組織幹細胞は、年齢とともに減少し、それによって組織の恒常性が失われ、老化や疾患の発症につながっていくと考えられている。組織幹細胞がどのように維持されて、老化においてどのような変化をするかは明らかでない。本申請は、それらを明らかにすることを目的とする。
