Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では「死細胞貪食により惹起されるがん細胞活性化の機序に、死細胞由来の異所性核酸が関与する」という仮説のもと、1) がん細胞に取り込まれた死細胞由来核酸の細胞内局在を追跡して、異所性核酸となる可能性を示すとともに、2) 異所性核酸を起点とする分子機序とがん進展との接点を、がん免疫逃避機構に注目して解明する。得られた結果を基に、3) 死細胞由来の異所性核酸によってもたらされるがん免疫逃避機構をターゲットとした新規制癌戦略への展望を探索する。
