Outline of Research at the Start

われわれは、 SCC 抗原に替わる新規口腔癌腫瘍マーカー CXCL13 を同定し、早期癌および進行癌の担癌患者における血清 CXCL13 値が非担癌患者より有意に上昇する事を明らかにした。一方、RNA レベルにて口腔扁平上皮癌組織における CXCL13 は高発現であったが、ヒト口腔癌細胞株では発現が検出されなかった。従って、CXCL13 が腫瘍微小環境に発現し、口腔扁平上皮癌と何らかの相互関係を有している可能性が示唆された。そこで、本研究では口腔扁平上皮癌組織における CXCL13 の発現および機能を明らかにする。
