Outline of Research at the Start

ヒトの体には自己修復能力があり、皮膚や骨折の治癒に活かされるが、失われた組織や臓器の再生は難しい。超高齢社会における課題は、加齢による口腔機能低下とそれに伴う誤嚥性肺炎である。本研究では、損傷組織の修復と幹細胞の老化抑制に寄与するデザイナー幹細胞と機能強化された細胞外小胞(EVs)の開発を目指す。これにより、唾液腺機能の改善と老齢マウスの損傷組織再生法の開発に挑む。
