Outline of Research at the Start

口腔顔面領域における異常疼痛発症に三叉神経節内サテライト細胞が重要な役割を果たすことが明らかとなったが，心理社会的ストレスに起因した疼痛への関与は不明である。本研究では，心理社会的ストレスに起因した口腔顔面領域の異常疼痛に対する三叉神経節内サテライト細胞の特性変化とその役割を解明する。本研究の成果は、今後有効な新規治療法開発に展開し、ストレスに起因した口腔顔面痛に苦しむ患者のQOL向上に貢献する。
