Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、「血清中のmiRNAに着目し、筋機能不全によって変動したmicroRNA (miRNA)が血流を介して骨に移動し、代謝を制御している」という仮説のもと、筋機能不全や筋委縮に伴いエクソソームに内包され分泌されるmiRNAを同定し、標的臓器である骨における遺伝子の機能解析を行い、エクソソーム内miRNAによる筋機能発達不全、サルコペニアと併発する骨粗しょう症の診断法の開発を目指す。
