Outline of Research at the Start

唇顎口蓋裂の裂隙のうち、顎裂は学童期前後にはじめて二次骨移植術により裂隙閉鎖を図る例が多く、裂隙開存に伴う形態的問題と、咬合をはじめとした機能的問題が比較的長期に未解決となる。そこで乳児期の早期顎裂閉鎖を目的として、口唇形成術と同時に歯槽歯肉骨膜形成術（GPP）を施行している。当初はGPP施行後に形成される顎裂間骨架橋の唇舌幅と歯槽高が十分でなかったが、GPP施行時に患児由来の骨髄組織を移植することで、骨架橋形成に一定の改善がみられた。今後さらに治療成績の向上が必要であり、骨髄移植と共に適切な骨再生誘導材料を用いてアプローチを進めていく。
