Outline of Research at the Start

インプラント矯正の問題点は、周囲炎による矯正インプラントの脱落である。我々は、インプラント周囲炎と細胞老化との関係に着目し、その病態進行の抑制に老化細胞の除去が有効であることを見出した。本研究では、老化細胞を除去するセノリティック薬剤の局所徐放性を付与した矯正インプラントを用いて、矯正インプラント周囲炎の進行抑制効果を検証する。本研究の実施により、老化細胞の制御による治療（セノセラピー）における薬剤送達技術の有効性を世界に先駆けて示すことができる。
