Outline of Research at the Start	成長後の精神疾患リスクとなり得る、小児の長期精神的ストレスによって起こる生体現象を解明し、唾液・口腔細菌叢に反映されるものを利用し、短時間で正確かつ非侵襲的に把握・診断する方策を見出すことを目的とする。すでに報告がある短期ストレス応答タンパク質等は長期ストレスへの対応は見られないので、長期経過で生体に見られる変化が唾液中に反映されるものをバイオマーカーとして定性・定量的評価を実現し、国民の心と体の健康に寄与することを目指すものである。バイオマーカー候補として、口腔常在菌叢、唾液中の代謝産物、転写後の発現制御に関わる小分子非コードRNA(small ncRNA)などを捉えるための基礎研究を行う。
