Outline of Research at the Start	Transmembrane135(Tmem135)は、ミトコンドリア、ペルオキシソーム、リソソームなどに存在し、ミトコンドリアダイナミクスや細胞代謝を調整している新奇の遺伝子である。申請者はこのTmem135を過剰発現させたトランスジェニックマウス(Tmem135Tgマウス)を有しており、本マウスモデルはミトコンドリアおよび細胞代謝を研究する上で大変有効なツールである。そこで本研究課題ではTmem135Tgマウスにおける唾液分泌機能および唾液腺のミトコンドリア機能を調べることにより、Tmem135が関与する新たな唾液分泌制御機構を探求する。
