Outline of Research at the Start

高齢者の根面う蝕の発生率が上昇しており、根面う蝕の予防や管理の対応が急務である。根面う蝕のリスク評価では患者の様々な状況を速やかに診査し、適切な評価を行う必要があるが、根面う蝕のリスク評価法は未だ確立されていない。本研究では根面う蝕発生初期に必要となる正確な診断と根面う蝕の経時的リスク評価を行うために、光学的診断装置による非破壊検査と唾液検査による多角的アプローチで根面う蝕の進行度を把握することを目的とする。まず、根面う蝕モデルを作製し、複数の光学的検査を行う。続く臨床研究では、唾液検査や光学的検査等を総合的に検討することで、経時的な根面う蝕リスク評価の構築を目指す。
