| Outline of Research at the Start |
遺体の口腔内スワブを用いて、次世代シークケンサー（NGS）によるメタゲノム解析を行い、梅毒、淋菌、髄膜炎菌、リステリアなどの同属の細菌叢を調査する。細菌叢解析の結果から、シークエンサーによる塩基配列解析によって細菌種を同定する。
これらの細菌に対して、EMA(ethidium monoazide)-PCR法による生菌迅速検出もしくは培養法により感染性評価を行い、これらの方法の精度を検討する。
死体状況、既往歴、死因との口腔内細菌叢調査及び病原性微生物の存在、感染力の有無について各種データの解析及び統合を行い、研究成果を公表する。
