Outline of Research at the Start	本研究では緩和医療患者の口腔症状緩和のために、終末期における口腔細菌叢の構成比変化などを調べ、宿主と共生する常在菌を制御する素材の総称であるプレバイオティクス(口腔内細菌制御の代表例:キシリトール)を用いて口腔細菌叢をコントロールする.この研究は、緩和ケア患者の口腔内ケアに革新的なアプローチを提供し、プレバイオティクスを介した口腔内ケアの新たな枠組みを確立することを目指しています。
