Outline of Research at the Start

世界の先進国が直面する少子高齢化は、歯科医療サービスの需要と供給に大きな影響を及ぼすと考えられている。歯科医療サービスにおいては、特に在宅歯科医療の需要が益々高まっていくことが予測される。本研究では、Geographic Information Systemを用いて、在宅歯科医療サービスへのアクセシビリティ指標を検証し、需給バランスに関する実態の把握と将来予測を行うことを目的とする。今後益々ニーズが高まる在宅歯科医療の実態を反映した医療資源の整備や医療計画の立案などに活用に向けた知見を創出する一助となる。
