顎口腔機能を主体とする摂食・嚥下の「恒常性維持」は、健やかな成長発育や高齢期の食生活維持を図るうえで必要不可欠であり、障害因子は早期に排除しなければならない。本研究は頭頚部に装着したピエゾ端子シートから加速度情報を得て、その解析から摂食嚥下の主機能・支持機能の低下を検出するモデルを構築し、新たな機能指標の提案を試みる。対象は幼児から高齢者までを想定しており、特に高齢者では触診によらないRSST:反復唾液嚥下テストの評価機材となり得るかも併せて検証する。
