Outline of Research at the Start	新型コロナウイルス感染症は2023年5月8日をもって感染症法の5類に変更され、コロナ禍前の日常を取り戻しつつある。この過程で、医療分野でも次の新興感染症への教訓を得るよう、コロナ対応の検証が必要である。本研究では、コロナ対応で中心的役割を果たしたとされる自治体病院の経営状況を含む運営面に焦点を当て、複数の病院の影響や工夫などを比較・検証する。これにより、次の新興感染症が蔓延した時に、病院の運営を円滑に進めるための要因を抽出することが期待される。
