Outline of Research at the Start	欧米では、入院における医療の質の指標として高齢者入院関連合併症（Hospital-associated complications of Older Patients; HAC-OP）が注目されており、HAC-OP発生の予防策を検討することは公衆衛生上の重要課題となっている。本研究では、DPCデータや医療レセプトデータなどの医療ビッグデータを用いて、HAC-OPの把握方法を検討し、入院時の生活機能低下予防に着目した医療サービス（ADL維持向上等体制加算）のHAC-OP発生に対する予防効果を明らかにする。最終的にわが国の実情に合わせたHAC-OP発生の予防策について提言を行う。
