Outline of Research at the Start	新型コロナウイルス感染症はオミクロン株出現により軽症化の傾向が見られるものの、高齢者における中長期的な健康影響に関する懸念があり、これを深く理解することが重要である。本研究は厚生労働省のNDBデータベースを用いて、オミクロン株感染後の中期的な入院リスクや循環器疾患、感染症、その他疾患の発生リスクを性・年齢階級別に分析し、新型コロナウイルス感染症が将来社会にもたらす影響を評価する。Cox回帰モデルを使用しワクチン接種等の影響も考慮に入れ、新型コロナウイルス常在化後のリスク低減策を提案する。この研究から得られる知見は新型コロナウイルス感染症の管理と公衆衛生対策の向上に寄与することが期待される。
