Outline of Research at the Start

医学教育においてプロフェッショナリズムの涵養は重要であり、empathy（共感性）はプロフェッショナリズムの中核の一つである。申請者らは医学生のempathyがコミュニケーション能力の向上を重視した教育手法で向上することを報告してきた。本研究では全国の医学教育カリキュラムの調査を行い、コミュニケーション能力向上を重視した教育の量や質が医学生のempathyの向上に寄与しているか分析する。また、empathyの向上に資するプログラムを新たに医学教育に導入するパイロットスタディを行い、教育効果を実証する。さらに、医学生のempathyと医学生の総合診療志向の関連性についても実証する。
