Outline of Research at the Start

申請者は自殺希少地域・海部町の調査を進める過程で、コミュニティで共有されている社会規範は意図的な教育や啓発の成果ではなく、長い歴史の中で不作為に形成されてきたと考えるに至った。この仮説を、自然実験手法を用いて、[A] 町の歴史と産業特性、[B] 江戸時代に端を発する道路と建造物の形状、[C] 成長過程の子どもが習得する規範意識、の3つのアプローチにより探求する。
