Outline of Research at the Start

人工内耳は，蝸牛内耳に電極を埋め込み直接電気で刺激することにより音感覚を生じさせる医療機器であり，20世紀で最も成功した人工臓器と言われている。申請者の研究グループは，高齢人工内耳装用者の実態調査にて，高齢者は青壮年期の装用者と比べ操作や管理力の低下，認知社会的問題など固有の特徴があることを報告した。しかしながら，高齢装用当事者，医療者の間での合意形成の実態は明らかでない。本研究では，質問紙調査，面接調査による実態調査，人工内耳手術の意思決定支援ツールの開発，および情報理解確認ワークシートによる有効性の検証を実施する。
