Outline of Research at the Start

近年、ゲノム医療に関する期待が高まり、これらをめぐる制度や体制などへの対応が行われている。とくに、各社会では、遺伝情報の保護や遺伝情報による差別への対応が重要な課題のひとつとして注目されている。そこで、本研究では、日本と文化的・遺伝的に類似性をもちながら、政府がゲノム医療を重点課題として取り組んでいる東アジア、とりわけ、日本、韓国、台湾に着目し、遺伝情報の保護状況や遺伝差別への意識について、共通の社会的諸課題を明らかにする。
