Outline of Research at the Start

脳損傷に伴う高次脳機能障害者は，医療機関での運転評価で一旦運転不可となると，そのまま自動車のない生活を強いられる．そのような患者に対して欧米ではdriver rehabilitation（以下DR）が行われているが，国内ではごく一部の施設のみで行われているに過ぎず，教習所を利用する点で負担も大きく汎用性に欠ける．本研究では，高次脳機能障害者に対する，認知リハビリテーションとdriving simulator訓練を組み合わせた，新しいDRシステムを構築し，その効果を調べる．この方法は汎用性が高く，多くの施設で行うことが可能である．
