| Outline of Research at the Start |
本研究では、失語症者へのVR (仮想現実) を用いたオンライン社会交流支援システムを開発する。この研究の独創性は、失語症者が言語機能のみならず対話的コミュニケーション能力などの社会交流のための専門的支援を受けながら、他者との社会交流を実現する点である。本研究において失語症者へのVR社会交流が実現すれば、地域社会で心理社会的不安を抱えながら生活をする失語症者の孤立感の軽減、および社会参加の増進に貢献できると考えられる。従って、本研究が実現した場合、その低下が指摘されている日本の失語症者のQOLへの貢献は大きいと考えている。
