Outline of Research at the Start	加熱式タバコは、紙巻タバコより有害成分が少ないことから、近年普及し始めた代替品である。しかし、加熱式タバコからも同じ有害成分は確認されており、健康への影響が懸念されている。我々は、加熱式タバコと腸内細菌叢の関連に着目し、マウスモデルで加熱式タバコの喫煙が腸内細菌叢に影響することを確認した。そこで、本研究では我々の先行研究を発展させ、加熱式タバコの喫煙と同時に禁煙による健康影響を腸内細菌叢の変化に焦点を当て評価する。喫煙による炎症性腸疾患、禁煙による体重増加への影響を明らかにし、加熱式タバコによる健康被害低減と禁煙支援に貢献する。
