Outline of Research at the Start	自発的無償献血（VNRD）は、持続可能な血液供給の枠組みの基礎であり、先進国ではほぼ達成されているが、途上国の多くは互助献血に、一部では売血に依存している。世界保健機関は2020年までに100%VNRD化を求めてきたが未達成である。今回国際輸血学会の協力のもとで、100%VNRD化の促進・阻害因子を明らかにするために、達成国中心に10か国程度にインタビュー調査を行い、外部環境分析枠組み（PESTELE：政治/経済/社会/技術/環境/法/倫理）を用いた質的分析結果をもとに質問紙を作成し、50か国以上の未達成国を対象に量的調査を行う。さらに、VNRDを持続可能にするための包括的文献レビューを行う。
