Outline of Research at the Start

標準治療の確立にはランダム化比較試験(RCT)での検証が大原則であるが、外的妥当性への懸念から、リアルワールド研究への注目が高まっている。一方、従来のコホート研究や医療ビッグデータ解析にも症例数や解析内容に制限があり、複数のデータベースの連結が重要となってきている。そこで我々は、日本最大の医療グループである徳洲会グループのカルテ情報・院内がん登録情報・DPC対象データを患者個人レベルで統合した大規模データベース構築し、RCTを補完するエビデンスを創出することとした。本研究成果により、がんの予防や治療に対する科学的な根拠を新たに提供する。
