Outline of Research at the Start

Epigenome-wide association study (EWAS)により疾患等と関連するDNAメチル化サイトが網羅的に見出されており、その多くが横断的データに基づく。後天的要因により変動性のあるDNAメチル化と疾患との因果関係を明確にするために、EWASにより得られた循環器疾患関連遺伝子のDNAメチルサイトのメチル化率と生活習慣及び循環器疾患との因果関係について縦断研究により検証する。
