Outline of Research at the Start

2016年以降、加熱式タバコの使用者が急増している。動物実験により加熱式タバコによる肺組織や血管への影響が報告されているが、ヒトへの健康影響は未だ明確にされていない。
コチニンは、ニコチンの代謝産物であり、尿中に排泄され、紙巻タバコの喫煙や受動喫煙により尿中コチニン濃度が上昇することが報告されているが、加熱式タバコの使用場所・曝露状況による尿中コチニン濃度の詳細な検討は行われていない。
本研究の目的は、加熱式タバコを使用する本人、及び、周囲の非喫煙者の尿中コチニン濃度の上昇の程度を明らかにし、その結果をフィードバックすることで加熱式タバコの使用者の禁煙企図を高める効果を評価する。
