Outline of Research at the Start

最新の日本の脳心血管疾病管理に関するガイドラインでは、1990年代の日本人の疫学研究成果を踏まえて日本人独自のリスク要因管理について言及している。しかし、近年の日本では脳血管疾患死亡率が低下し、1990年代と現在ではその様相が変化してきていると考えられる。研究申請者らは岩手県の悉皆的地域疾病登録事業で把握したイベントをアウトカム指標として利用する前向きコホート研究を今日まで推進してきたが、本研究ではこのデータセットを用いて古典的危険因子毎に網羅的に脳心血管疾患の絶対リスク評価を行い、現代の日本人と過去の日本人との比較が可能となる資料的価値の高い疫学研究成果を提供することを目的とする。
