KeywordsAlcoholic beverages / Ethanol metabolites / Urine and blood analysis / Congener analysis / Biomarkers of drinking
Outline of Research at the Start

Usually, proof of alcoholic beverage consumption relies on the analysis of ethanol or its metabolites. However, it is possible that other compounds present in alcoholic beverages can prove consumption. This study focuses on uncommon congeners in alcoholic beverages to determine proof of drinking.
