Outline of Research at the Start

入院患者の周辺環境の接触頻度が感染の原因となる可能性が指摘されている。しか
し、その根拠は乏しく、看護師が把握すべき環境整備の実施基準は定まっていない。これまでに私たちは、一般病棟の環境表面の微生物汚染度を隈なく評価してきた。その結果、同一の検体採取箇所での微生物汚染の変動が大きいことを把握できたが、汚染を規定する因子を見出すことはできなかった。一方、この成果は手指の接触とその接触面での細菌の生存を具体的な患者の日常生活動作を加味し精査する必要性を示唆した。そこで、患者周辺の手指接触頻度が高い環境表面の細菌叢や微生物汚染の特徴とその動態を検証し、要因を明らかにすることを目的とする。
