Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、筋注のみ適用のワクチンよる注射部位副反応の実態を明らかにし、軽減・予防する看護技術について検討、さらに検証を行うことで、筋注用ワクチン製剤による注射部位副反応を軽減・予防する看護技術の確立を目指すものである。新型コロナワクチンでは、接種後の注射部位の発赤、熱感、腫脹、疼痛等がかなりの割合で経験され、倦怠感等全身的な副反応と共に対象者に苦痛をもたらした。積極的勧奨が再開された子宮頸がんワクチンも同様の副反応が報告されている。筋注用ワクチン製剤の実施頻度が高まる中、注射部位副反応を軽減・予防できれば、ワクチン接種率向上に寄与でき、発症率低下や重症化予防につながると考える。
