Outline of Research at the Start

歯周病は多くの全身疾患と発症と悪化の相互関係を持っている。また透析患者の合併症である骨・ミネラル代謝異常が歯周病の病態に影響すること、および糖尿病性腎症を原疾患とする透析患者は、他の透析患者に比べてさらに歯周病の罹患率が高く、重症化する傾向があることも明らかになっている。透析の現場において、患者の歯科健診および歯科衛生指導に関しては多職種連携の必要性を十分に認識されておらず、適切かつ系統的な多職種によるアプローチが急務であることから、透析患者の口腔の健康を維持することで栄養状態や血糖コントロール状況の改善を図るため、多職種が共通で利用可能なコモンリスクアプローチツールとシステムの開発を目指す。
