Outline of Research at the Start

日本では臓器提供者数増加のための施策が講じられているが、脳死下臓器提供に臨むドナーの尊厳を保つための看護ケアには改善の余地が多い。
本研究の目的は、国外の終末期患者に対する医療の取り組みとして患者・家族・医師の願いを叶える3 Wishes Project (3WP) を、日本の脳死下臓器提供のドナーの尊厳を保つ介入として導入し、その実施可能性・容認可能性・有用性を明らかにすることである。
本研究により、脳死下臓器提供において、ドナーの人生の最期までドナーの尊厳を保持することに関心が向けられ、ドナー遺族や医療従事者の精神的負担の軽減と、医療従事者の倫理観の向上に寄与することが期待される。
